Largemouth — Early fall on Summit Lake. Cool nights and mild afternoons push bass to docks, timber, and weed edges once the sun is high.
Dawn and dusk are the moving-bait windows; midday fish tighten to shade. Expect fish to slide a little deeper on the brightest midday hours and return shallow as the shadows lengthen.
Crappie and bluegill stack on docks and brush with small jigs. Catfish can show on deeper wood and channel swings.
Weekday traffic — lighter than the weekend. Fish early, give ramps and swim areas room.
Fixed Dam-controlled water. No shared generation/level feed this cycle — check the agency page the morning you fish; releases and pool levels change daily. Stay outside buoyed restricted zones.
